Calling Time

I like the intricate architecture of dandelion seed heads. This one looks remarkably intact, considering the wild, blustery weather and frequent showers of today.

I had an appointment with an opthamologist today who confirmed cataracts in both eyes, the right more developed than the left. The plan is to have the op on that right eye in July. Though I am keen to have clear vision again, I've always been nervous of medical interventions. If there is anyone in Blipland who has had the op and would like to reassure me, I'd be interested to hear your story (positive outcomes only please!).
