Whit-a-Whit, Whit

One of the pleasures of Blip has been (where possible) to try and find out a bit more about what I photograph... I guess you don't have to read it, so hopefully my ramblings don't spoil the photos for you.

This goldfinch (Carduelis Carduelis) has loved the seed feeder today. Managing despite the windy weather - making it a bit more extreme sports! I loved the way the book described it's most common flight call as a pleasant tinkling 'whit-a-whit, whit!'
