Best day for years

I can't tell you how good this day was. We were tasked to join the NW Air Ambulance at a job. When we arrived, they'd blagged the best spot for a landing so we took a bit of time hunting around for somewhere to park.

I was wondering who the pilot would be and whether I might know them, but I sure did not expect this chap to appear! He's an old friend from my days with the previous company and it was just absolutely fantastic to see him! We were giving each other big man hugs and laughing so much that we forgot we were on a job!

We both flew back to Barton to the NW base, and had a really good catch up. It was so so good to see him! Such a boost to morale and a reminder of some very very happy times! What a Top Chap!
