Ballindamm, Hamburg in Germany.
Today I moved to my favorite hotel in the center of the city, to enjoy the last days before my return to the US in a different way than all the other weeks.
Here I have a pool in the hotel to take good care of the old joints, and a city full of interesting cultural events. Hamburg is enjoying the theater festival at the moment, so tonight we saw a Chekhov play in the Thalia theater.
It is years ago, many, that I was in a big city to watch a play and was able to go home after the play.
The picture shows the buildings of Hapag Lloyd, the company who sends out their ships and containers all over the world. It is here that they started their business.
I notice that I am somehow proud of this city.
When I am here, friends from the other half of town visit me near the hotel.
