Logan Botanic Garden
Our day started with a cliff top walk past Portpatrick golf course and down into several secluded bays.
In the afternoon we visited Logan Botanic gardens with its spectacular displays of exotic plants that thrive in the climate influenced by the Gulf Stream. The blip shows part of the high wall formed by the remains of the 15th century Castle Balzieland.
We then drove to the Mull of Galloway lighthouse at the most southerly point in Scotland with views across to Ireland and the Isle of Man.
