As we struggle to get more than two jumps up in our arena and we seem to have got stuck in a rut with current lessons, I booked Eva a lesson with another instructor who has a large outdoor school. Eva had an awesome lesson. Normally she needs persuading to canter and pop a jump and goes into meltdown before agreeing to have a go (then loves it) but today she just got on with it and did brilliantly. Felt like she made so much progress in just one lesson so we'll definitely book some more. Exciting times ahead for this pair.

I spent the morning helping one of the other ladies sort out her electric fencing. Buddy has lost a shoe so no hacking today but we did have a really good session in the school. 

Went out for dinner this evening with Bryony, Kristie and Helen. It's been ages and so good to catch up. I'm trying to make more of an effort to organise stuff and be more sociable rather than just getting in my jammies at 8.30 and falling asleep in front of the TV!!
