No mow May

My garden is slightly over a year old and it’s developing pretty well - obviously a garden is never finished, which is the joy of it all. At every opportunity I’m out enjoying it and if it’s sunny, so much the better. I decided to leave two patches of grass unmown, one each side of what will be the path - then I could walk through it! It’s also made me realise how much the lawn needs a bit more interest so I think I’ll keep something like this going through the summer.
