Stormy

Our weather forecast today was for more rain and the chance of a thunderstorm. The sky over Seven Mile Beach looked very stormy for a while. We got some heavy rain but, so far, no thunderstorm. 

The very wet conditions we've been having in eastern Australia are largely caused by a La Nina weather system. The Bureau of Meteorology now predicts that the current system will continue for some time. They say that the big wet could extend for months to come, with the risk of more flooding. This is not good news.
