Japanese Gardens

The weather cooled off and we were able to visit our local Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth.  Apart from the fact that it as dog weekend (not too bad apart from the smell of excrement wafting occasionally), we had a lovely walk through the main gardens but always enjoy the Japanese Gardens - here L sits at the entrance and the extra is of one of the gigantic Koi Carp that fill most of the ponds in the middle of the gardens.  These days not a lot happening but am working on my 4th audiobook of the podcast - War of the Worlds by H G Wells and continue to see BG do solid business in the aftermath of the pandemic.  More on recent events next post, but the horrendous events in Texas 2 days ago only highlight a very real problem here where the biggest single cause of death amongst young people under 18 is gun shootings.
