Another of 'Those" Days

Today is International  Chardonnay Day!
Chardonnay is now the most widely planted white grape variety in the world.  It is the 'base grape' for many, many wines including Champagne and, if a label says the contents are  “Chablis,” it must be Chardonnay - by French law.
I had a vision of sitting in the warm sunshine sipping a glass with Mrs. MD - but it rained and was quite chilly in the brisk wind so we enjoyed a glass indoors :-)
