Salad Days

The first harvest. C4 was round for dinner so I harvested a big bag of baby salad leaves; lettuce, mustard, spinach, rocket and beetroot. Have to say that the first ‘home’ salad of the year was great! The coriander and chard that I picked were unused and will have to wait for the weekend when I might knock up some Indian scran. I feel a dahl coming on.
Had a good time tonight. S dug out a pile of photo albums that we hadn’t looked at in a while and which triggered a load of memories and lots of laughs.
