Alternative lenses
Woke up with a cold and a sore throat - Deb said I've sounded like it was coming on for a few days. So had a quiet day, though I did manage to get just outside the house to shoot this triptych of buttercups. I used a Leitz Colorplan 90mm lens set in an extension tube. It has a fixed f2 aperture, but offers lovely soft background tones.
I do love the way our fields are so full of buttercups in June - I noticed that on my first year up here, and look forward to it every year.
My idea of a restful day was sitting in front of my PC editing photos. I've just sorted about 5 years of Tuscany trips to add to my Camera Club lectures.
