This is Ian Howard proudly wearing his third successive championship medal at the end of the game today. Ian is one of three players who have been with us all the way on this incredible journey of three consecutive championships since the club was reformed.

Ian is a very hard working player who has a very creditable goal scoring record. Even this season, when he had less game time, he still produced goals. He is very much a fan's favourite. NM is among his biggest fans and she leapt to her feet to give him a standing ovation when he was substituted today. His contract is up at the end of the season and I think that today may have been his last game for the club. He has been a great servant who gives his all in every game and is a wonderful example of a part time professional footballer.

As well as being presented with the championship trophy and medals the players also showed off the cup which they had won earlier in the week.

There are still two away games to be played before the season ends but today was our last home match.

We now look ahead to next season and the much bigger challenges that lie ahead.
