A dust catcher

This beautiful old vintage car lamp has been sitting in my stitching cave for some years (for reasons that escape me) and I've just brought it upstairs and suggested to Dr D that he might want to add it to the treasures in his "toy" shed. There are no vehicles over there as old as this but maybe his MG Midget is only about 50 years or so newer than the lamp.I'm sure it'll feel more at home over there. Meantime he's talking about giving it a birthday with Brasso.
