Family
Took the dogs to Sutton park first thing again as they are being left today. I left to pick up my uncle before picking up mum and heading to London for my uncles funeral. Passed a lorry on fire on the way down, fortunately we got passed it before the fire engines on the other side got to the scene or we would have been held up for ages. Got to the crematorium early and before the rest of the family arrive. Service was short but nice and it was good to see my cousins, even if its not the best circumstances to meet them. Went back to their local pub for a bite to eat before the remembrance service in their local church, UG did a very nice eulogy which Uncle B would have enjoyed I’m sure. Kids did very well considering they are all under 8. Stopped to have a chat after the service and take a few family photos, as it might be the last time we can get everyone together and then headed home. Long drive back to drop mum and then uncle M off. J took her mum to see the oncologist this morning and it wasn’t good news. Her cancer has spread, which is causing her stomach pains and feet to swell. They have offered her some more chemo, which is good, if she can handle it. Dogs had to be left for a few hours but seem to cope with it OK. Not the best day all round.
