Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens

Beautiful sunshine.
Nice and warm. 
Friendly hardworking gardeners tidying (and in some places clearing) the lush borders.

My garden has some late May chaos and I’m never sure how much to clear. One gardener says she’s been told to clear lots. She’d have kept more if she hadn’t been told how much better it is to be truly selective. 

My blip is of one of the plinths but from outside the  surrounding wall in an area recently cleared and opened.

Some frustrations though - I followed my first Painted Lady but she wouldn’t settle and there were at least two Holly blues who were excessively flighty.
