Silage making

Tractors and trailers flying about everywhere. The neighbouring farmers made theirs a week or two earlier so the lanes are pretty safe once again!
Grateful for a window of fine weather so we can get ours done and sheeted  down before it rains again.  A local team arrived from nowhere to help.  T said the grass is of good quality so let's hope we can get it all in, it's so important for winter cattle feed.

Joined some friends for a meal at The Green in Sherborne last night celebrating E's birthday.  Good food and good value, and we all enjoyed the evening.  It is such a treat to dine out again especially after the last couple of years battling with Covid.
