Emergence

Thought I'd better rescue this baby snail with a damaged shell and put it somewhere less conspicuous. Despite being held upside down, it was eager to establish what the heck was going on.

Met up with three fellow bowlers late morning for some much-needed practice; weather was most agreeable and good enough too to have lunch in the garden.

Better get on and walk the whipper-snapper before band practice this evening..
