The field up the hill currently has both lambs and very new calves cohabiting peacefully with their various mothers and the Sussex bull. It's very nice to see!

In other news, I now have a family of three squirrels eating all the bird food and knocking the feeders onto the ground. I am therefore not going to replenish the feeders for now and I'm considering investing in a squirrel-proof one. And the moral of the story? Be careful what you wish for!
