WELL-NAMED

Great excitement when I got to RSPB Saltholme today as there was a pair of Glossy Ibis (Ibises? Ibes?) there, visiting from other climes, showing how they got their name and discombobulating the gulls and geese who were definitely looking askance at them. There were lots of other good things there to make me feel brighter today, but I hope they'll still be there when I go back, although this little box of blue tits (extra) will probably have moved on.
