Good day sunshine...

Took a great many photographs of this magnificent creature in the afternoon sunshine as he made his way around the lake. His partner was sitting on a nestful of eggs across the other side of the lake. Hopefully the young cygnets will be a future blip.

Meantime, he spent such a long time preening himself after dipping himself in the lake and he didn't seem at all bothered by the three women sitting on the bank with long lenses trained on him... and then he started to move across the lake.

More preening.
More moving nearer the bank.
More preening.
Now coming onto the bank and heading towards us.

I think someone on the other side of the lake has photographic evidence of three women previously seated on their derrieres beating a very hasty and not very graceful retreat. In the end I wasn't quick enough and being nearest he bit me on the leg!

The things a Blipper will do...!
