The Dovecote

This dovecote sits in an orchard in the hamlet of Pridhamsleigh. It's right beside the A38 Devon Expressway. You might see it from the car as you head towards Plymouth. It's a listed monument but apart from that I can't find much detail about it. Most visitors coming this way are on their way to the nearby caverns.

I've blipped it before but I haven't seen the door open and it was good to have a little squint inside.
