One of the more unusual features of the new house is the glass-panelled doors. Every door has glass, including the front door, inner porch door, back door and then every internal door, including the bathroom. The single concession to non-transparency is a non-opaque roller blind on the inside of the bathroom door, which has been gradually poking the top of the shower screen (which also has a rubber bottom seal-flap over only two-thirds of its length). Shifting the blind up an inch or so stops it batting the top of the shower screen hinge, but a wee rubber doorstop was still required to stop the door handle smacking the shower screen itself.
