The other side

We've been on the Central Coast for the last 4 nights getting Catherine's mother settled into palliative care at Gosford hospital. They've finally got her medication right and she's peaceful now although barely conscious, and ready to fade quietly away. The reality is that it's only a day or two to go now so we've said our goodbyes and head home Saturday morning, leaving the final vigil to Catherine's brother who lives nearby.
We've been fortunate to have a tranquility base at Bells at Killcare and this is the view from our villa across the lake.
