The early bird gets the worm

Well, at least for this robin the expression is true. I took today off from work to get some things done and because Monday is a holiday it makes for a very nice four day weekend. Monday is Memorial Day and a time to honor those who gave their life serving and protecting our country. There is a festival of flags in Ferndale with over 1800 flags displayed that I always like to see and hopefully the weather will be good.
