It begins
Lots to do at the allotment (nothing new there!) - mainly weeding (garlic, various seedlings, peas....). Noticed just as I was leaving that one of the broad bean plants had been snapped, presumably by the brisk wind. Erected a Heath Robinson arrangement of sticks and twine in the hope of holding them all together. Found the beginnings of the crop.
Called in at Tesco on the way home for bird food and a few other essentials. Their shelves were looking very sparsely stocked, particularly the fresh produce. Another Brexit benefit, no doubt.
