Busy Day

On the go type of day!

A workout first thing, some gardening then off for some deep kneading and acupuncture on my grizzly left shoulder, jeez it brought a tear to my eye at one point. Remnants of years at a desk and bad posture. He’s managed to break it down quite a bit but still not all. Back end of July. My resistance band exercises are helping strengthen that area though.

Back and we’re on duty to take Ben to Perth and Kinross Primary School Athletics meeting. He managed to qualify along with the bunch of pals from his class here. It was held at the athletics arena which is a great facility but the other end of town! To get through the busy traffic for 4 pm but we got there anyway.

It was great fun and so good to see them competing competitively. Ben got into the final of the 200m but didn’t win in the final but he doesn’t do athletics anyway so it was good he got this far.

Elias, 2nd from left was the big winner winning the 80m final and goes forward to the County finals. He is in the athletics club and has a great running style.

Got the fishvan earlier so had a prawn stir fry for tea and then sobbed my way through the very final two episodes of This is Us. Heartbreaking and what a series this has been. Is their any finer Dad that Jack Pearson? :)
