Portnahaven
We visited the beautiful coastal village of Portnahaven with it's pretty whitewashed cottages and lighthouse. We had a walk around and chatted to a couple of locals sitting outside their cottages then spent some time watching a sedge warbler singing merrily in the bushes.
We then drove over the moors and saw a wheatear (extra photo) which conveniently posed on a post.
We went to Ardnave on the end of a peninsular where there were a group of choughs on the clifftop. We started a clifftop walk but the rain was so heavy that we cut it short and made for the car.
