And more Peonies begin to open in the garden including this little stunner!

Lovely sunny morning today so I got motivated to attack a list of gardening jobs - all the tomatoes, sunflowers, cucumbers and courgettes are now planted up... and I'm sure the slugs and snails will appreciate munching them all to stumps within days!!

We also put up some screening around the roof terrace railings to hopefully protect the plants out there a little more as it's very open to the wind!  And then I went to the local hall where there was a Cats Protection Plant & Book sale..... yep, I may have come home with 6 books and 4 plants! But it's for charity so doesn't count!!  Now to find homes for them all......

Felt weird not having our friends' cats to go and visit today! They got home last night and the journey from Cornwall only took them 9 hours this time! and my mums' friends cruise ship finally set sail from Tilbury, only 27 hours late!
