Our last day

Today’s walk was said to be 17km* with 535 feet of ascent. I knew this was too much for me, so I went with Sue and Kevin by car to the highest village on the walk.

The rest of the party were relatively quiet when they arrived. It had been a very hard ascent.

We had a drink (tonic for me) at a bar and then walked back to Rupit. The views from our ridge were mind boggling. The heat did create some haze.

I managed the relatively short walk back to Rupit.

What a wonderful holiday. Arth has done well.
