The Fair

It's been another lovely day weather-wise. There are posters all over town advertising the Fun Fare that has arrived in town.  This is in addition to the annual MOP that is held twice a year and takes over the centre of town.  This particular fun fair is on the other side of the river on the Rec Ground.  We didn't go over there but could see the high scary rides from the RSC terrace.  Separate from the fair on Bancroft Gardens is a classic horse roundabout.  The photo shows Hermaphroditus waiting for his/her turn.

From there we wandered back to Henley Street where we had a coffee in the Cornish Bakery.  Cafe Nero, a couple of shops down,  has a sold sign on their building so presumably they will be closing up soon.
