Fluff on Stilts
Another day, another walk - this time to the east, to the RSPB's Titchwell Marsh reserve, then back along the coast to Holme Dunes. Just over 19Km altogether, but mainly flat! As the main track to the beach at the reserve is actually a public footpath, & there aren't any other paths, dogs are allowed on the reserve but not in the hides.
The main Blip features a couple of young avocets - there were several feeding in the shallow water, with parents fending off any approaching ducks. Also included is a view of the freshwater area - the lagoons become progressively more saline towards the sea, with different residents - & a view of non-birds along the beach
