Marbleous!

My late mother in law would have been 102 today. She died in 2012. She was a great listener. She loved all her grandchildren. Our daughter and son in law planted a cherry tree in her memory in their front garden. Today I took a photo of them all in front of the tree which is now bearing its first cherries.

With rain forecast for the end of May I brought forward the end of our no mow May this morning. The lawn looks very neat but we have kept a few drifts of daisies, buttercups and unusual taller grasses. I think the effect works.

We watched the F1 qualifiers from Monaco with our 9 year old super fan.

This evening the delayed start of The Champions’ League Final in Paris was worrying. It seems that ticketless fans assume they are still entitled to get in regardless?
