The weather forecast was for 5 mm of rain today. They were wrong! A friend of mine had more than 20 mm in her rain gauge. I was out picking up plants for some jobs today, and had to dodge the raindrops. On the way home I decided to drive on the old road instead of going on the highway. The 103 is well known for accidents when it is raining, people drive too fast for the conditions and they hydroplane. Driving the old # 3 hwy takes longer but it ends up being safer, people are forced to drive at a slower speed. Several times on the way home I had to put the wipers on high.
With all the rain, and the fog along the coast I didn't have a chance to stop for any photos. Shortly after I got home, the rain stopped, so I went out to take a few photos in the garden.
Between tonight and tomorrow I want to get all my paperwork up to date. Receipts are all entered and filed, except for the ones from today. Invoices and quotes will be finished tomorrow. I also have to get my tax stuff together to show to my mortgage broker, to see if I can convince someone to give me a loan to buy a mini home. The biggest problem for me is, I have several cash customers and that income does not show on any paperwork, other than some deposits here and there into my personal bank account. I would also continue to have a boarder, as I do here, but again, that doesn't show on any paperwork.
