Golden leaves

Today, I went to Coventry to watch Leyton Orient's final away game of the football season. It was a must-win match for the Os, who are hovering just below the play-offs for promotion. Orient won; the bad news is that so did Swindon, leaving Orient four points adrift with one match to play.

Oh well, maybe next year...

The Coventry City stadium is a few miles outside the city, so I decided to walk there along the canal. On the way back, the evening sun was lighting up the overhanging branches of these trees in a most attractive fashion.
