Back to the usual

I spent most of the morning working out the pattern for the blanket I've been trying to make for a couple of months now. I finally settled on a pattern, after much charting, experimenting, and mathing. It still comes out rather wrinkled but I just give up on that one. It's an easy pattern with dragonflies and stripes and maybe I'll actually get it finished now.

The bike ride over to Ashtead Station and back was OK - a bit of a let down after the Monsal Trail. 

Dinner was tray meals and tinned veg, thanks to my son's shopping trip before we got home, so still not having to prepare veg. Nice!

Then Pointless and catching up with my friend in Worthing, television, and bed. I forgot to post this photo of the rose in my garden, that I took just before my bike ride, so here it is now.
