Shakespeare's parade day ...

Hey listen up ... I have a snippet of info on his birthdate ..now it is celebrated as the 23rd of April ..however there are only records of his baptism on 26th April which means no one actually knows his birthday at all !!! What he did do though was drop down dead on 23rd April so look 1 out of the 2 is not bad ...of course 23rd April is also St George's day ...
Anyway in our town the Shakespeare birthday parade is held on the weekend nearest to the 23rd ( made up birthday party innit)....
Town gets rammed silly and you cannot move so I went down this evening to get my blip of one of the flags just down by the RSC ....

This morning I was up the hills with Wiggy,Mia,my Lucy and all the pooches by 9am ...... YES 9am!! We meet J and Monty the bambi dog .. The weather was glorious ...we spent ages up there.. Then Mia came with us to collect Zoe,Darren and Jake and we then spent from 10.30 till 6pm in the garden !!!! All of us ....... Zoe and I made a fabulous Victoria sponge .. It's all gone .... Jake played with loads of buckets of water ... Jessica was dropped off here too in the afternoon .. It was bloody magical .... All of it... They made a den using old bed linen and broke my pegs hooking it all up ... The mums and dads turned up .. Little bit more cake and some coffee and some beer .... Really did turn into rather a splendid time.
