Madness of Crowds

I wanted to take a crowd shot purely because I've been so unused to seeing crowds recently in any shape or form. 
It occurred to me when reviewing this shot, that a long lens adds a hint of hysteria to the scene. Everyone seems to be interacting with something, but not necessarily each other. Add a pop art effect (extra), and it looks even more manic. 
How peculiar.
