African Daisy

Friday...Cornwall Day 7 and even though we were away enjoying our holiday, I remembered that Friday was Flower Friday, so took this photo of an African Daisy, many of which were growing outside the front door to the cottage.

African Daisies otherwise known as Osteospermum, is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Calenduleae, one of the smaller tribes of the sunflower/daisy family Asteraceae. They are known as the daisybushes or African daisies.
