A couple of things recently prompted me to suggest we look at offsetting our personal and business CO2 impact.  After a bit of hunting for a company we felt confident with, UK-contributing, and sensibly priced, our certificate arrived today.

As it happens we were not that far off 'carbon neutral' anyway.  All our electricity and gas supply is carbon neutral, we don't fly, hardly use the car and don't buy much 'stuff' these days.  (And the garden is estimated to absorb about a ton a year).

Thus, offsetting 60 tons per annum is spectacularly over the top to balance out our emissions, but we're completely comfortable with that.
