We went through the contract, it's not as bad as all that. I need to tell them which bits I refuse to sign and which bits I want them to clarify, and we might be there. And hopefully, by the time that is done, Cambridge will have reached the “paperwork” stage mentioned yesterday.
We went to see an exhibition of embroidery at the Fashion and Textile Museum. Some of the work was gorgeous, but all of it let down by shockingly amateurish presentation. My photographs of The Red Dress were disappointing for that very reason, but I have included an ostrich-feather extravaganza that was better lit.
