Water feature!

As I mentioned on yesterday’s blip we gave Jude an early birthday present. It is a water activity table and is really for them both but we felt it was silly not to give it to her till September when the summer stretches ahead now.

Here is Jude before 7.30 this morning! It was a bit chilly then but she soon had her coat off trying everything out. Think she likes it and will get lots of fun over the next few months.

Yesterday Eda and the other children had all the pipes etc working and were very soon thoroughly wet. After the BBQ food they went next door to play with water pistols! Wet doesn’t seem to bother them.

When Jude had finished her before breakfast play she helped daddy make banana pancakes. They were yummy.

We all did a bit of gardening and John broke the ‘no mow May’ by cutting the grass.

We had a fabulous brunch outside (John is a great inventive cook)  and started clearing away just as a few drops of rain fell.

Soon it was time to leave and now we’ve just landed home. A lovely week with the girls and a fabulous weekend with everybody. They are all on holiday now so I hope they have a good relaxing week. I’m going to have a bit of a rest too!
