A lovely day together. This morning I sat in the sun with my breakfast (extra) and enjoyed a quiet moment to myself before the day started. Cannon, S and I spent the whole day doing jobs on the veg plot. We put our small tent up for S and it kept her amused all day with a sleeping bag and toys. After dinner, a lovely casserole made with some really good quality shin of beef and cooked all afternoon in the oven, we were straight back into the polytunnel. String up the tomatoes, making new beds, planting cucumber and salad and moving things about. We found five toads today and I must say I’ve really noticed a decrease in slugs so that must be why.
