A very worthy road closure

Another cycle and I found this road closure. What a nice reason to close the road. In honour of this I decided to write a limerick:

There once was a young Scottish Toad
Who wanted to cross over the road
But for fear of the cars
He could never get far
Until this sign relieved some of his load.
