Castel di Tora e Lago del Turano

We spent a thunder stormy night at Colle di Tora, a finger of land pointing into the lake. Fortunately the rain started after we arrived to the airbnb. The forecast for today was sunny morning, rain starting at noon, so we left super early to miss the storm. Great view of Castel di Tora above Lago del Turano, just past dawn on day 7 of cycling the Cammino San Benedetto. We stopped for breakfast cappuccini just below the old city and within moments it started pouring!!!! It continued to rain while we had our second cappuccini and stopped as soon as we donned our rain gear to ride. No more rain for the rest of the day! Lucky us, thanks Padre Pio!
