Who’s that Guy?

Well it’s Shelly for one. I don’t know who the guy on the building is. I just noticed him for the first time today. Shelly and I were out for a walk. Today was the famous Ski to Sea race here in Bellingham. It’s a seven part relay that starts with skiing at Mt Baker and ends in Fairhaven with kayaking. The race ends around five. Earlier in the day there are booths and food and all sorts of fun for families. We went out around 1:00. We didn’t go too far for two reasons: Shelly’s hip and wanting to avoid crowds. There is a fair amount of Covid going around and if either of us got it that would be the end of Shelly’s hip surgery this Wednesday. So we stayed outside and kept some distance while we chatted with folks. It was so good to get out. I took a selfie of us at the Firehouse Cafe where we stopped for coffee and a scone.
