Raindrops on roses
It was sunny this morning, then it got cloudy, and by noon it started raining. It has been a disappointingly cool spring - it is officially summer at the end of this week and I am not feeling the warmth yet!
My roses are glorious, they were bought a few years ago from RHS Wisley and if they were a little more expensive than elsewhere, they have been so worth it as each year they produce the most magnificent roses that are beautifully perfumed too.
I watched Goodwoof on ITV catchup and actually spotted us sitting on the side while the were doing the parcours display - it was a fleeting moment so unless you were looking out for us you would not notice it.
Tonight is our last camera club session of the year - although next Monday it is the start of our annual exhibition, so it will be a busy day as we have to hang all the prints in the town hall for the opening of the exhibition later that evening.
It is rather nice to have such a short week due to the two bank holidays on Thursday and Friday. The UK does not have that many - on average most of Europe gets 10-14 public holidays per year, whereas England only gets 8 public holidays per year.
