Still a Thrill

When sitting in the picnic area at North Norfolk Railway's Weybourne Station picnic area I find it almost impossible not to leap up from my seat with my camera when a train arrives.  Even though it's a sight that is familiar after many years of living near the North Norfolk Railway. I still feel a thrill whenever I see/hear a steam train.  

It's half-term and so the train was busy with families enjoying the ride...of course one has to wave at the children...obligatory.

A and I walked from Kelling Heath down to Kelling Halt and along to Weybourne Station this morning.  We nearly trod on a small adder on the path en-route.  By the time I'd got my camera poised he was slithering away into the long grass.
