Poppies Amongst the Corn
So many this year as I crossed the Rhône Valley to go to the dentist just over the border in France. When will men become citizens of the Earth and put a stop to Nationalism, and do their the best for the earth as a whole? Why are we such a greedy animal? Poppies have symbolised the deaths of so many people since the First World War. This year of course people will be thinking of the people of Ukraine but Russian families have been also lost loved ones to this war too. I am reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, about two sisters in German occupied France during the Second World War. I can’t read it just before going to bed!
Gardening afternoon again, going well now, can definitely see the difference.
