It seems to have been a busy day, beginning with the alarm at 6.15am for Stephen!
He was going to umpire a Warwickshire County under 14’s cricket tournament at King Edwards Boys School, Edgbaston.
He had to drive across Birmingham from here to be there at 9.00am.
These lads are coached by Warwickshire County development squad because they show promise as young cricketers.
There were 4 umpires altogether for the matches. And 4 teams each with their coach.
He could’ve done with a thermal vest today!
